BookBook Case Turns your iPhone into a Vintage Leather Bound Book
In this digital age with all the books done digital as well, I still love the look and feel of a leather bound vintage book. But what do I do when all my books are in my iPhone? Hey not to worry. It seems Twelve South (the company which openly admits on it’s website that they are not just Mac friendly but only Mac) has just read people’s minds, people like me. After the release of BookBook case for MacBook Air they have come out with a BookBook case for your iPhone, case to protect your valuable iPhone with the look and feel of a vintage leather bound book.
When folded up it looks just like a rare antique copy of Bible. Open it up and you have your iPhone on the right, safe in it’s compartment completely concealed from the outside, and on the left side, place has been provided for credit cards and all other kind of cards with a convenient ID window. There is even some space left out to keep some cash.
What about taking pictures you ask. Even that has been taken care of. A small red tab is provided at the top which you need to pull and it slides your iPhone up just enough to expose the camera lens, letting you capture images. All of the controls are easily accessible and the iPhone can be charged without taking it out of the case.
Finally your wallet, your camera, and your iPhone all fold up nicely just like a book hiding it’s content nicely inside the beautiful leather bound cover. So now you do not have to worry about carrying around two things nor about misplacing your wallet. Since Twelve south is “only Mac” BookBook is only designed with the iPhone in mind. So non-iPhone users, sorry. As for me, I’ll never miss my books again.
