Delete an Entire Word using Jailbreak Tweak ‘Delete Word’
There are lots of reasons why we jailbreak our iPhones. For me, it’s because I am not just satisfied with what Apple has preloaded my iPhone 4 prior to my purchase. My reason is different than yours. But to sum up all these reasons, it will only put into one major conclusion: to have an experience-enhancing tweaks!
Today, I would like to share a new tweak I just recently tried and I am happy about it. This is ‘Delete Word’. As you can observed in iOS of any versions, deleting a whole word at once is impossible. This little jailbreak tweak is simple yet very useful for iPhone 4 users. Developed by iSam, Delete Word is a jailbreak tweak that will make deleting words or backspacing a much faster experience. It works by allowing you to delete an entire word instead of deleting each character one by one.
Delete whole word instead of just one letter by holding Shift then tapping Delete on the keyboard. You can still delete normally without holding the Shift button
There will be no icons or settings for this tweak. Just install and you will be able to use on the normal keyboard.
To start deleting an entire word, you have to hold SHIFT+delete (or backspace). Once pressed, the tweak deletes an entire word instead of characters. If you want to delete a single character only, no need to hold shift (just like the normal one). It really saves time for everyone using iDevices. This tweak is free and available through Cydia. Just search “Delete Word” and Install.
