Sprint hints an early October iPhone 5 launch
We have seen in the past a lot of rumors telling us when the iPhone 5 will be coming. Even after a few months of these rumors, we still dont have a confirmed date for the launch of the next gen iPhone. But now, we guess we have some clue of the time period in which Apple is planning to launch the iPhone 5, and Sprint seems to have given out a clue to help this out.
According to Sprintfeed, the country’s third largest carrier, Sprint, has given out memos to its employees saying that nobody is allowed to take a leave starting from September 30 through October 15, that is two whole weeks. What does this mean? Well, you can connect the dots yourself.
We have been reading rumors that say the iPhone 5 will be released sometime in late September or early October. Now, Sprint’s memos to its employees seem to tell us something. Why would the carrier deny leaves to its employees specifically in this period? Because the work is going to get hectic as the iPhone 5 launch is coming up, yeah, that’s why.
As far as memos go, this is a brief and to the point affair, simply saying that, “Due to the possibility of a major phone launch in October we are blacking out September 30th through October 15th.”
Also, Sprint seems to have become the partner for Apple to release the iPhone 5 this time. Also, it is being said that Sprint will be offering unlimited data plans with the new iPhone 5. Unlimited data plan is something that the two major carriers, AT&T and Verizon, are not offering now. This could probably make Sprint the most wanted and favorite carrier in the country for the iPhone 5 and for those who use a lot of mobile data.
Lets hope we dont have to wait a lot from now.
