Siri0us for iPhone 4/3GS and iPod Touch bring Siri dictation

Ever since Siri was released along with the new iOS 5 on the new iPhone 4S, almost every developer and hacker has been trying to find out ways in which the package can be brought on to other devices. Apple had said that Siri needs the high performance of the A5 chip in the iPhone 4S and also more memory. But it did not take a lot of time to find out that this was not at all true.
After that, we have seen Siri being ported and working fairly nicely on other iDevices as well. There have been a lot of apps in the jailbroken world as well which let Siri run on iDevices using proxy server and what not. Now, there is one more advancement which is going to hurt Apple’s heart for sure. The new package which is publicly available is capable of running on the lower end iPhone 3GS as well. That is something when it actually designed to run on A5 processor devices only, eh Apple? (Sarcasm)
Anyway, the new publicly available package on Cydia will enable you to dictate text to your iPhone 4, or iPhone 3GS, or the iPod Touch fourth generation. This is really nice. You no more have to type any of your emails or text messages. But there is one problem. This is ad based and hence requires internet on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
This point of this Siri0us is similar to the iPhone 4S, as the original Siri also needs internet connection. On Siri0us, if there is no internet connection available, you will not the get the mic at all. That is some real good programming.
So, if you are interested, you can add http://apt.if0rce.com to your repository list on your cydia app store and download the app. Enjoy dictating.
