Volkswagen Beetle 2012 Revised Version Will Be Showcased At Upcoming 2012 Auto Expo India
Volkswagen India recently announced officially that its popular hatchback car BEETLE’s new model will launch at the upcoming Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi, India. Volkswagen will showcase its new model of VW Beetle at the auto expo (country’s biggest automobile show). Earlier Volkswagen sells Beetle in India and brings it via CBU (Completely Built Unit) which forced them to heavy heavy taxes and custom duties which makes its cost over 22 Lakhs INR in India.
Mr. Neeraj Garg, Member of Board, Director Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt Ltd. said,
“The Auto Expo is one of the best platforms to showcase our latest and best to the Indian automobile enthusiasts and we are confident that the 21st century Beetle will be a cynosure of every visitor at the Pragati Maidan.”
Volkswagen recently launched the Think Blue campaign in India. We had seen earlier the first carline with BlueMotion Technology, the Volkswagen Passat. Volkswagen New Beetle 2012 having a 1984cc petrol engine with 4 cylinders which drives maximum power of 114bhp@5400 rpm and maximum torque of 172 Nm@3200 rpm. Volkswagen New Beetle 2012 is a 4 seater hatchback car with a top speed of 207 km/hr.
