Google’s Project Glass (Cyborg Glass) coming soon
If you are geek, or watch a lot of sci-fi movies and follow technology even a bit, you will be knowing about the hype that Google has got over its new glasses, the Cyborg glasses. The new project that Google is working is called the Project Glass. So, what is this new project? You might have seen in many sic fi movies that the robots, aliens from another planet, or cyborgs as they are commonly known as, rule the planet Earth. You might have observed their suits as well.
If you have observed them correctly, you would observe that they do not expose their eyes, which means that they wear glasses. But what kind of glasses? The usual shades that you buy online or the store near you? No, absolutely not. Those glasses have super powers and the cyborgs who wear them will be able to do super cool things wearing those glasses. So, Google is all hyper about doing the same in the real world. Are you with me till here?
Well, Google’s plan is not going unattended or wasted. Google has been able to work on this project and do a lot of progress. Yes, the company already has a few prototype glasses ready and is working hard to better the technology and release the final product into the market soon enough, before any other company does.
So, what do you think these Cyborg glasses will be able to do? Well, it is said that the glasses have the ability to take pictures, the ability to connect on Google+, the ability to send email and the ability to live stream what you are currently looking at. This is something pretty cool already. Now, Google is on the project to do something more of it.
If you are already planning to buy one of these, you can relax, because the Cyborg glasses will not be coming out to the market in 2012. If you say 2013, that would also be pretty early for the product. Let’s just hope that we get it as soon as possible.
