Battery drainHere are some tricks and applications that will keep the battery, of your iPhone and Android, “alive” for as long as possible:

Disable the Wi-Fi – or use the 3G networks only when you need it. If you do not need the internet then simply disable your Wi-Fi – it consumes a lot of battery power.

Disable the Bluetooth – Even if it doesn’t “eat” a lot of energy, its applications do. Not to mention that an open Bluetooth makes you vulnerable to attacks.

Close the GPS – even if it’s not used in idle mode, when you launch an application that uses a service location, the GPS will start and it will consume power.

Close the equalizer – When you are listening to music on your smartphone, the equalizer lets you hear the sound mode you selected – this option “eats” a lot of battery power because the phone is trying to give more bass than normal.

Do not use vibration alerts – vibrations are caused by a little engine that consumes a lot of battery power. Remain strictly to audio alerts.
