Real Racing 3 to be Released later this Year
One of the most successful games in Apple devices was Firemint’s Real Racing 2 that was released last December 2010. Since then, it was always in the Top List of the entire car racing games in iOS with added updates including the HD versions for the new iPad. But on May 2011, Electronic Arts (EA) announced the purchase of Firemint Pty Ltd, making it an in-house studio for EA Interactive.
Last month, EA also announced the merging of two top mobile game studios in Autralia, IronMonkey and Firemint to come up with the name Firemonkeys. IronMonkey is best known for adapting EA games to mobile including Dead Space, Mass Effect Infiltrator and The Sims FreePlay. Firemint also had developed independently popular games like Flight Control and Spy Mouse. They will be sharing a roof at the EA Melburne Office after the acquisition.
It’s been a while after the release of Real Racing 2 that no follow-up game was released by Firemint. But now, Firemonkeys is happy to announce that the Real Racing 3 will be released later this year. Here is a trailer video of the upcoming Real Racing 3.
With the upgraded graphics in the new upcoming game, great features will also remain like the multiplayer AirPlay mirroring and the real driving experience for everyone. Featuring all-new licensed cars from different manufacturers including Audi, Dodge and Porsche, add new tracks are also expected. These tracks include Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Silverstone. A single game of 22 grid cars, the player can compete with the rest of 21 drivers.
Real Racing fans can now experience the glory of championship racing on real tracks while maximizing the hardware potential of your Apple device. So, stay tuned for more updates regarding the release of the Real Racing 3 in iOS.
